Agency relationships in New Jersey
New Jersey law requires a real estate licensee to provide consumers with the Consumer Information Statement on New Jersey Real Estate Relationships at first contact where substantive discussion of a specific property occurs. That statement describes the business relationships available in New Jersey — seller’s agent, buyer’s agent, disclosed dual agent and transaction broker — and how each affects what a licensee may do for you. Ask Karen for a copy at your first conversation; she will provide it and explain the differences before you decide.
Nothing on this website establishes any agency relationship. A relationship is created only by a written agreement signed by you and by RE/MAX Realty 9.
Notice regarding disclosures
The New Jersey Real Estate Commission requires every licensed broker or salesperson with whom you list your property to give you a copy of the required notices concerning property condition disclosure. Karen will provide these at the appropriate stage of your transaction.
